Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Try Scuba Diving is ideal for you. The center offer this program either in a beach. You can Try Scuba Diving close to home or while you’re on vacation at a dive destination.
While not a scuba certification course, the Try Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
Why it is fun
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the first time. It takes some time to adapt - after all, humans are not made to do this - however after a few minutes of breath-taking wonder, most participants realize how easy diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors face is not encouraging participants to go overboard, but to persuade them to leave when the program has finished. The fun part? Everything is fun! Experience diving under close supervision. If you're like most people you'll be hooked after your first breath underwater.
What you will learn
You will learn the basic techniques needed to dive under the direct supervision of a SSI Professional. One of the things you learn is that you really can breathe underwater and you will experience if you like that or not:
You will learn how it feels to use diving equipment and how easy it is to move around underwater if you wear scuba gear.
You experience what it's like to take a breath underwater and whether you find comfortable.
You will learn some basic skills and safety rules that you will use during your complete diving course when you take the next step.
Prerequisites
To do the Try Scuba, you must be at least 10 years old.
