Fitó Island

Wildlife: scorpion fish, moray eels, barracudas, groupers; you can see monkfish in spring, moonfish in spring and sea eagles in summer.

Located to the south of Punta es Plom and surrounded by cliffs, a small island emerges, Illa Fitó, which is sheltered from the north winds.
The dive takes place around the island, which has a wide variety of landscapes: vertical walls covered with red gorgonians to the north, a rocky bar that almost emerges to surface in the south, caves and coralline to the east and a platform with seagrass meadows and abundance of white gorgonians to the west. This makes it a very entertaining, relaxing and suitable dive for all levels, which range of depths is very variable, reaching 25 meters on the east slope. As fauna we can find scorpion fish, moray eels, forkbeard, as well as nudibranchs on the dark walls.
